Exciting news! The City of Moreton Bay has approved the first residential communities in the new suburb of Lilywood, located within the newly named city of Waraba. This significant milestone marks the beginning of a transformative journey for the region, promising a vibrant future for its residents. South-east Queenlsand’s newest and most anticipated regional city is set to become one of the south-east’s largest future communities.
Lilywood Landings, developed by Lennium Group, will be one of the first new developments to release registered blocks of land in Waraba, along with AVID Property Group’s (AVID) “Bright”, Baycrown Property Group’s “Westbrook” and Orchard Property Group’s “Aire”. Lilywood Landings will offer new land buyers a wide range of affordable lots and thoughtfully designed house and land packages.
Lilywood, the first new suburb, will comprise approximately 70 hectares of greenspace, pedestrian and bike paths stretching 4.5 km along the Caboolture River, a new state primary school, sporting fields, local parks, and a town centre featuring shopping and other amenities. Construction is set to commence in mid-October 2023 on the initial water and sewer infrastructure and new roads.
