Coffee lovers rejoice! Lilywood Landings has welcomed its first barista into the community and locals are already lining up for their morning fix.
The new Gavel & Grind coffee cart, located at our Sales Centre on Merryvale Circuit, is serving up freshly brewed coffee, sweet treats and friendly service to tradies, visitors, and future residents as our community comes to life.
Manager and barista Mena Abdelmessih said he was looking forward to welcoming the first residents to Lilywood in coming weeks.
“There’s already such a great energy around Lilywood and it’s exciting to be part of it from the ground up,” he said.
“We’re here five days a week bringing great coffee and good vibes, and it’s been a pleasure getting to know the tradies.
“I can’t wait to meet the new families moving in soon. I think it’s going to be a really special community.”
Mena recently moved to Caboolture from Melbourne for a change of scene and warmer weather. He enjoys charity work on a Saturday with Caboolture Community Action, making coffees for people in need.
Gavel & Grind is open for business at Lilywood from 6.30am to 12.30pm Monday to Friday, and Mena hopes to extend these hours to Saturday when the first residents move in.
It will certainly be a great feature to have around when our Master Builders Queensland Display Village opens in October and is the first step in creating a vibrant village atmosphere, with more amenities planned as Lilywood continues to grow.
