Exciting news! Construction of Lilywood Landings will start soon after the first approvals for the new suburb of Lilywood were announced this week.

The City of Moreton Bay has approved the first residential communities in Lilywood, the gateway suburb to south-east Queensland’s most anticipated new city, now named Waraba.

As the largest of four new communities planned for Lilywood, Lennium Group’s Lilywood Landings will offer a wide range of much-needed affordable homes and feature the region’s first display village.

Spanning around 70 hectares, Lilywood Landings will be closely connected to existing housing and the convenient education, shopping, health, recreation, transport and other services located in the greater Moreton Bay region.

Future residents will enjoy an expansive 1.74km of Caboolture River frontage with modern homes blending seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment. More than 23 hectares of Lilywood Landings will be dedicated to parklands, walking paths and cycle ways for healthy outdoor living.

Construction of key water and sewerage infrastructure, new roads and intersections is due to commence from mid-October 2023, which will be quickly followed by the creation of the community’s very first blocks of land.

City of Moreton Bay Mayor Peter Flannery said the first approvals for Lilywood followed years of planning and collaboration between many different stakeholders.

“The ultimate winners will be its future residents, who will benefit from a diverse range of affordable housing options with walkable neighbourhoods, local parks, a district-scale sports facility, a primary school, local shopping facilities and at least 70ha of green space with pedestrian and cycle paths along the Caboolture River.”

With more choice of home types to suit every lifestyle, more to see and do within close reach, and much more to come, now is the time to register your interest in land releases at Lilywood Landings!
