It’s full steam ahead at Lilywood Landings, with more than 70 homes now under construction – marking a major milestone for the fledgling city of Waraba in Moreton Bay.
As strong demand continues to drive rapid growth in our new community, only a handful of lots are left in the first stages, prompting the fast-track release of Stages 5, 6, and 7.
This means an additional 50 lots are now available, although the majority have been snapped up already! Construction of these blocks is well advanced with completion expected before the end of 2025.
This surge in activity signals a new chapter for Waraba – the state’s newest city – with Lilywood Landings leading the way as the first residential community to take shape within the new city boundaries.
So far, we have seen a steady flow of owner occupiers, both first homebuyers and young families, looking to secure a foothold in an affordable, well-connected location that offers a balance of nature and amenity.
Lennium Development Manager Ian Worthington said there was incredible momentum at play as Lilywood Landings started to take shape.
“Lilywood Landings is quickly coming to life before our eyes,” he said. “It’s fantastic to see more than 70 homes now underway, which is a major milestone not just for this community, but for the city of Waraba. “This is a sign of the strong demand we’re seeing from buyers who want an affordable, future-ready lifestyle in a well-connected, fast-growing location. “These new land stages represent another exciting chapter for Lilywood Landings, and we couldn’t be more pleased to provide this opportunity for the growing backlog of buyers. “With nearly 50 lots coming to market and settlement expected by the end of the year, it’s an ideal time to secure land and start building your future in a community that’s truly going places.”
Formerly known as Caboolture West, Waraba – which means “burn” in the Kabi Kabi language – is an exciting 40-year project in the City of Moreton Bay, that will eventually supply around 30,000 homes plus schools, parks, sporting fields and a town centre for an expected population of 70,000 people – approximately the size of Mackay.
Lilywood Landings has been designed with liveability in mind, offering wide tree-lined streets, parks, and easy access to key transport links, including the nearby Bruce Highway (M1 Motorway) and two train stations close to home.
More than 200 lots in the community have been sold since Lilywood Landings was launched only 10 months ago with the first residents expected to move into their new homes within weeks.
Builders on the ground say demand has been red hot, with families eager to move in and start their next chapter.
With construction of our Master Builders Queensland Display Village underway and heading for completion in October, there is growing excitement among buyers ready to visualise their future homes.
Director at Integrale Homes Murray Reilly, said it was fantastic to be a foundation builder in this exciting new community.
“We’re building across multiple lots at Lilywood right now and it’s incredible to see the years of planning and design coming together and bringing this new community to life,” he said. “We’re seeing a lot of first homebuyers, particularly young couples and families who want space to grow and a home they can really make their own. “Lilywood provides a great opportunity for them. They’re seeing the value, the location, and the lifestyle the community presents, and they’re not hesitating in putting down a deposit. “We’re excited to be involved in shaping this brand-new community from the ground up. You can already see that this place is going to be something special. Somewhere you can be proud to call home.”
