Approvals for the first housing developments are now granted by City of Moreton Bay. The first residential neighbourhood, Lilywood will comprise 70 hectares of greenspace, pedestrian and bike paths stretching 4.5km along the Caboolture River, a new state primary school, sporting fields, local parks and a town centre featuring shopping and other amenities.

The 3480-hectare new neighbourhood development plan for Waraba City will be the largest growth area planned in QLD. The new city location was selected as the perfect position to support the region’s growth.
